A two-hour workshop: How design thinking can transform the world of private capital.

Equity investors don't just invest in ideas. They invest in people. It is easy to appreciate the value of design thinking in allowing teams to learn about ideas in hour, not months and for pennies, not thousands or millions of dollars. Seasoned private capital sources, especially on the west coast, have recognized this for years, leveraging design thinking to catalyze growth in their portfolios and be smarter about investments before writing checks, even hiring full time designers as members of their teams.

Having worked for years with organizations huge and small, we have come to appreciate the deeper value of transforming people, not just ideas. If investors are looking to grow and develop the teams they invest in, human-centered design is the way to do it. But this workshop won't just connect you with the possibilities for those teams, It will connect you with something in yourself that you may have been missing for a long time.

The workshop.

On March 22, join fellow investors, entrepreneurs and designers in our Nashville studio to learn the basics of human-centered design from the best including Stanford d.school coaches and IDEO alum.

Where: Stoked | 1323 6th Ave North, in Germantown

When: Thursday March 22, 2018 | 9-11am (doors open at 8am for coffee, espresso and hang time)

What's it cost? Nada! Zip! Zilch! But registration is required, so we know how many folks to expect.

What will you get?: An experiential understanding of what all those HBR and Fast Co articles are talking about, an insatiable inspiration for how new skills could improve your business, and aexcitement for your work.
